Update 8/29/12: Like a little haute-couture Energizer bunny, Lady Gaga just keeps going and going! The megastar has added more dates to her Monster’s Ball tour, extending the international jaunt into December. Russian fans can catch the Lady herself live in St. Petersburg on December 9, or in Moscow December 12. Tickets for the new additions aren’t yet available, but check back here when the secondary market catches up to Gaga’s globe-trotting ways.

Update 8/10/12: Even more breaking Gaga news: The superstar’s Monster Ball tour has been extended, with new Latin American concerts scheduled for late October through November. We’ve got the official list of brand-new performances below, but they’re just the beginning – “THERE WILL BE MORE!” Gaga promised via her website.

Update 7/30/2012: Lady Gaga has officially finished her new album! The You and I Mama Monster recently tweeted: “Exciting news little monsters! I’ve played my new record for my label and will be announcing my new Album Title in September!”

Gaga’s past few albums have launched the pop diva into the stratosphere of megastardom: 2008′s Fame has sold over 15 million copies, while The Fame Monster was certified three times platinum, and Born This Way was only the seventeenth album to ever sell over a million copies in one week.

Though her two-year Monster’s Ball tour is still underway, Gaga’s announcement must mean 2013 dates are eminent. Where will she head first? While we’ll have to wait until fall for an official statement, check out below for our list of Gaga’s 2013 Possible Tour Locations.

Original Post

As GaGa fans may know, the Born This Way Ball Tour kicks off this summer, and is expected to run into 2013. The tour officially starts August 14th in Bulgaria, ending in Spain come early October. All dates and venues for the 2012 tour have been confirmed and the word is out…however, as for the upcoming year, the US locations are still in deliberation.

2012 Destinations

The Haus of Gaga; the name used by Lady Gaga to describe her behind-the-scenes creative team, already know the style of her tour and what fans should expect to see upon entrance. The pop idol revealed her plans through her twitter page, as she promised her fans that they wont be attending any old concert venue. Each venue will feature a medieval castle theme for the stage, with a catwalk surrounding the front part of the audience. This section is called the “Monster Pit,” and those little monsters who arrive early in appropriate “Ball” attire, will receive entry to the pit. Entry into the pit not only allows a center stage opportunity, but a chance to be chosen to go backstage and meet Gaga herself!

Monster Pit Details

  • Due to venue capacity issues, only those with GA floor tickets will be eligible to earn Monster Pit access.
  • For safety & security reasons, fans won’t be permitted to line up at the venue before 8am local time the day of the show; those with GA floor tickets can line up in the Monster Pit eligibility line. The afternoon of each show, Monster Pit access wristbands will be distributed to GA floor ticket holders who have arrived first, waited the longest, and are dressed to “Ball.
  • The first person in line for the Monster Pit will receive a key.
  • A very limited amount of Monster Pit passes will be held and distributed at random each night for those who do NOT have GA floor tickets; these will be awarded to fans who arrived first, waited longest, + dressed to “Ball” but who do not have GA floor tickets.

    Ticket Prices

It is assumed that the Monster Pit comes with higher priced tickets, but that will not be the case says Gaga. “The Pit is a General Admission area and die-hard fans won’t have to break the bank to get in.”

So how much are those GA tickets? They appear to range between $103 and $1000.
    Check them out yourself.

Gaga’s final thoughts on her lengthy tour?
“I do have plans, it will be at the top of next year but I have to begin rehearsing by the end of this year. That’s what I do. It’s time for another marathon. If you’re running a marathon, and you’re about to cross the finish line, you don’t stop and say, ‘Oh, once I cross it, it’s over.’ You run as fast as you can to get there as quickly as you can. So I guess, for me, it’s about how many marathons can I run? How many dreams can I make true? Now, not for me, but for my fans”
