Crass funnyman (and Adam Sandler associate) Nick Swardson is launching his own standup comedy tour in the fall. Swardson’s “Taste It” tour will kick off at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto on September 10, before heading stateside for a run of shows throughout the Midwest, South and Northeast. In mid-October, he’ll move to the West Coast starting with a performance on October 16 at the Moore Center in Seattle, WA. After a sizeable chunk of shows in Colorado, Texas, California and more, he’ll wrap things up on November 10 at the Paramount Theatre in Austin.
Arguable known most for his roles in the TV show Reno:911 and movies like Grandma’s Boy, the Grownups films, That’s My Boy and Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star, Swardson actually began his career in standup. His 2007 comedy record, Party, was eventually certified Platinum and 2009 Comedy Central special Seriously, Who Farted?, led to a show on the basic cable network, Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time, which ran for two seasons.
