Paula Deen all Buttered up for the Road
Have you ever felt the need to deep-fry your cheesecake? Do you own stock in butter sales? If so, we’ve got the tour for you. The “Lady” of Southern cooking herself, Paula Deen, is setting out on a short tour this summer for a series of 90-minute interactive shows. At each date, fans will be asked to jump on stage with Deen to make some of her most famous recipes, all while listening to stories and personal anecdotes from the Deen family. The tour will kick off on Saturday, June 21, at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN; and then continue to the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, TX; Lucas Theatre for the Arts in Savannah, GA; Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, GA; and finally, the Andrew Jackson Hall in Nashville, TN. Dates for an additional 13 shows in cities like Jacksonville, FL; Orlando, FL; and Pensacola, FL will be announced shortly.
Need to go to this beautiful festival of butter? Tickets go on sale to the general public this Thursday, May at 10am. VIP packages are available for you super fans out there, complete with meet-and-greets, photo opportunities, and more.
