Action Bronson Tour

Hometown shows are always packed houses for bands, and Action Bronson is no exception to this rule. The rapper, born in NYC’s Flushing, Queens, set up a show on January 10 at New York’s Irving Plaza, and it promptly sold out. So guess what? He added another one. The next day (January 11), same venue. Tickets for the second show are on sale now.

Before Action Bronson became a rapper, he was a well-respected gourmet chef in New York – I’m willing to bet he still doesn’t pay for his meals. He loves to rap about food in his songs, and he even hosted his own online cooking show, “Action in the Kitchen.” (Check out the video for it below.) Bronson dropped his debut album, Dr. Lecter, in 2011, and then followed it up shortly after with Well Done. His latest mixtape, Blue Chips 2, was released on November 1, 2013, and he has plans for an upcoming album to feature Mobb Deep and Kool G Rap. Bronson is prolific, to say the least: he’s guested on tracks for a wide variety of artists, including fellow New Yorker Joey Bada$$, Chance the Rapper, Alex Wiley, Harry Fraud, Statik Selektah, Mike Posner, and Joey Fatts.
