UPDATE: Summer Tour

Imagine Dragons, currently in the middle of a winter North American tour, will be back touring the continent come late spring and very early summer. The band announced this past week a 13 city tour that will kick off May 7 in Charlotte, NC, at the Time Warner Cable Arena.

The trek will visit Raleigh, Boca Raton, St. Augustine, Denver, Orem, Boise, Edmonton, Calgary, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego before wrapping up June 3 in Phoenix at Comerica Theatre.

UPDATE

Big news for North American fans of Imagine Dragons. Before they embark on their first European tour, set to kick off on April 2 in Bristol in the United Kingdom, they will run through an extensive series of tour dates covering the United States and Canada throughout February and March. Kicking off February 8 in Tempe, the tour will visit over 25 cities that include Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia, Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles before wrapping up on March 23 in Denver.

Las Vegas-based rockers Imagine Dragons have been bringing us fresh and new alt/indie rock since 2008. After winning several “battle of the bands” competitions, they finally cut their first EP in 2009. Soon after, they signed with Interscope Records and released their first full-length album, Night Visions, earlier this year. The album received critical success, earning a spot on Billboard Magazine’s “125 Essential Fall Albums.” The band also performed on the late night TV circuit this year, making appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Now, the band being coined “the next big arena-rock band,” has announced their biggest European tour to-date. The fun kicks off on April 2, with a performance at O2 Academy Bristol. This is the first in four United Kingdom dates, and the band won’t venture through other parts of Europe until April 19, when they play the first of five Germany gigs. The tour wraps up on May 3, with a show in Paris, FR, at Le Bataclan. Tickets for these shows will go on sale November 30, so head back to SeatGeek and nab yourself a pair!
