KMFDM – which translates to “no pity for the majority” – have been around for nearly 30 years, and was founded by multi-instrumentalist Sascha Konietzko as a performance art project. The band is credited with being one of the first to bring industrial music to mainstream audiences, and have worldwide record sales of more than two million. Their latest album, Kunst, is due out on February 26, and features a track titled “Pussy Riot,” likely as an act of solidarity toward the imprisoned rockers.
