Aerosmith and Slash Tour

With so many rock concerts to choose from this summer (KISS, Motley Crue, Guns ‘N Roses, etc), how does one, well, choose what to attend? Well, sorry to say, but this next tour announcement is sure to throw a wrench in your plans: American rock heavyweights Aerosmith and GNR guitar god Slash are set to hit the road later this year for a full tour. Announced last week on Twitter by Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, not everything has been squared away, but a tentative list is set to be released sometime next week. Despite being um, well into their later years, Aerosmith shows no signs of stopping: they toured last summer with Cheap Trick in support of their 15th studio album, Music From Another Dimension. Slash is no slouch, either: he toured extensively in 2012 and 2013 and has a bunch of shows with Guns N’ Roses this year. Stay tuned for the latest news on this rocking tour.

Aerosmith has sold over 150 million records worldwide, and they’ve won four Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards, six Billboard Awards, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Not just a GNR axeman, Slash’s latest solo album, Apocalyptic Love debuted at No. 4 on the BillboardTop 200, boasting appearances from Dave Grohl, Chris Cornell, and more.
