Alpine Valley Music Theatre Concerts

Alpine Valley Music Theatre, located roughly equidistant between the cities of Madison (WI), Milwaukee (WI), Rockford (IL), and Chicago (IL), opened back in 1977 and is known for its characteristic wooden roof and for being a destination for music fans in the Upper Midwest for concerts from the biggest names in music during the summer months.

A sampling of the bands and artists that have played the venue over the years are as follows: Jimmy Buffett; The Grateful Dead; Aerosmith; Boston; The Black Crowes; Motley Crue; Guns N’ Roses; Phish (who have played the venue a total of 13 times); Dave Matthews Band; Coldplay; Korn; Pearl Jam; Rage Against the Machine and Rush.

This summer, the concert calendar at Alpine Valley is still forming and the two acts currently scheduled to play are as follows: Zac Brown Band on June 8 and Dave Matthews Band on July 5 and July 6.
