Can you hear the Mahomies screaming? Austin Mahone made a big announcement last week on Z100’s Elvis Duran and the Morning Show (on the same day as his 18th birthday, natch): his debut release, called The Secret, will be released on May 27, and to support to record, he’ll be hitting the road to support it. The tour kicks off in San Antonio, TX on July 25 at the Freeman Coliseum, and then continues through Houston, TX; Grand Prairie, TX; San Jose, CA; Redmond, WA; Las Vegas, NV; Birmingham, AL; Baltimore, MD; Greensboro, NC; Charleston, SC; St. Louis, MO; and many more, with a final show September 9 at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, OH. Support for the tour comes in the way of The Vamps and Fifth Harmony. Tickets for only a handful of dates are now available, so check back for more ticketing information.

Mahone got his start by posting covers of Justin Bieber songs on YouTube. His first single, “11:11”, was released in 2012, followed by “Say Somethin’” and “What About Love.” He snagged the role of Taylor Swift’s opening act during her “Red” tour, and he was signed to Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money Records last year.
