Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. will be hitting the road this fall in support of his upcoming album, Cadillactica. K.R.I.T will kick off the “Pay Attention” tour on October 2 at the Amos Southend in Charlotte. From there, he’ll head up the East Coast — playing from Washington D.C. to Montreal. He’ll play Toronto on October 10 and then cross back over the border for a show at the Grog Shop in Cleveland on October 11, followed by a run through the Midwest. After hitting Portland on October 21 to play Alhambra Theater, K.R.I.T. will move on to a series of shows in the Pacific Northwest followed by run down the West Coast, eventually making his way to Los Angeles and then on Phoenix. He’ll fly to Druahm, NC, to play NC Central University with YG on November 4. After that, it’s on to Oklahoma City, followed by a run through Texas, and New Orleans. He’ll close out the tour with a show at Masquerade in Atlanta on November 15.
After earning a name for himself in the Southern hip-hop community through his guest appearance on other artists’ track, like with Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa, Big K.R.I.T. scored critical success (and a contract with Def Jam) with his 2010 mixtape K.R.I.T. Wuz Here, which he eventually followed up with his debut album Live from the Underground, which debuted at number five on the Billboard 200.
