Brandi Carlile Tour

Building on the success of her last two albums, Brandi Carlile is rounding up her Hard Way Home Summer Convoy tour and hitting the road for a few months. The Seattle, Washington, native is supporting her latest studio album, Bear Creek, and her most successful release to date, a live album titled Live at Benaroay Hall with the Seattle Symphony. Since gaining her first mainstream recognition in 2007 when “The Story” was featured in the hit TV show Grey’s Anatomy, Carlile’s career has continued to build as more fans have become familiar with her loud, enthusiastic, and emotional performances, a modern take on classic country music reminiscent of Patsy Cline.

The Brandi Carlile summer tour is mostly filled with shows she is headlining, but Carlile will be opening for the Dave Matthews Band on a handful of dates as well as for The Avett Brothers. She also is also performing four large festivals, so by the end of the year, Carlile’s popularity as an artist may be cemented by her desire to take the Hard Way Home. All Brandi Carlile fans – current or prospective – will be happy to know that, as a philanthropist, she donates $1 of every ticket sale to her Looking Out Foundation, a non profit that benefits causes she champions including the American Diabetes Association and the Fight the Fear campaign. It’s always inspiring to find an artist who is as emotionally invested in her community as she is in her songs, so many folks will be happy to join the Brandi Carlile convoy this summer.
