Are you ready for the coolest, weirdest tour to come through in…well, a while? Gather your creatures of the night, because The Creature Carnival Tour and its sideshow of fun is heading to a city near you. The stacked lineup will star Beats Antique, Shpongle, Emancipator, and Lafa Taylor. The month-long tour is set to kick off on October 15 at The Orpheum in Madison, WI. From The Cheese State, the tour will head to Fargo, ND; St. Paul, MN; Chicago, IL (with two dates at the Riviera Theatre); Boston, MA; Washington, DC; New York, NY (at the Best Buy Theater); Wallingford, CT; Philadelphia, PA; Syracuse, NY; Nashville, TN; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and Las Vegas, NV (at the un-aptly named Brooklyn Bowl). The last date of the tour will take place at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, CA on November 8. Presale tickets are available now via the tour’s website.

Formed in 2007 and put together in conjunction with producer Miles Copeland, Beats Antique is known not only for their mix of genres such as Middle Eastern belly dance, down tempo, hip-hop, clown, afro-beat, and more, but for live shows that mix samples, various percussion sounds, dance, and performance art. The band has released eight studio albums together. Check out their live performance of “Colony Collapse” to see what you’re in for.
