Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds touring
Just last week, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds announced two East coast shows for November. And yes fellow NYC people, he is coming to New York to perform at the United Palace Theatre which has a capacity of The venue choice is interesting, as it is way up on 176th and Broadway, but I am sure DMB fans won’t be too concerned about the extra distance. Perhaps even stranger is the choice to follow-up with their only other show in Connecticut. I am from CT so I can hate…

What’s great about this concert is that it is a charity event where ticket proceeds can be donated to a charity of the ticketholders choosing > see this page for details. But basically they state:

For each ticket you purchase, you will receive a unique code worth your ticket price that you may use to direct a donation to any charity of your choosing.
When you receive your donation code via email (also printed on your ticket stub) visit this page to direct your donation through the JustGive platform.
Your directed donation is funded by the performing artists and a generous supporter.
All proceeds will be donated to charities selected by the ticket purchasers.

Dave Matthews Band Ticket Prices

The average listing prices right now for this event are a staggering $816, although these aren’t as expensive as when Sting came to NYC, or even Radiohead for that matter, it is still quite hefty. For comparison sake, I pulled in average DMB ticket prices over the last year and a half, including DMB’s recent Caravan Tour. This is shaping up to be his most highly demanded event.
