UPDATE

In a blast from ’90s rap-rock past, the 2013 Download Festival has added none other than Limp Bizkit to its lineup. The band, which originated in Jacksonville, Florida back in 1994, has been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards and has sold over 35 million albums worldwide (the vast majority in the ’90s of course) over the course of their career. Having broken up in 2005, the band has been performing again since 2009 and will also appear at this year’s Sonisphere Festival in France.

Limp Bizkit joins a lineup that already features Iron Maiden, Mastodon, Rammstein, Slipknot, Queens of the Stone Age, Bullet For My Valentine, 30 Seconds to Mars, Motorhead and The Gaslight Anthem.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now. And just to refresh your memory …
