Dum Dum Girls have been on the road all summer supporting their latest release, Too True (go buy it now), and they’ve just announced a bunch of new appearances to add to their list. After gigs at Outside Lands Festival and Denver’s Riot Fest, Dum Dum Girls will play shows in Denver, CO; Omaha, NE; Minneapolis, MN; Madison WI; Detroit, MI; Boston, MA; Brooklyn, NY (at Brooklyn Bowl); Philadelphia, PA; Austin, TX (for Fun Fun Fun Fest); Tucson, AZ; Phoenix, AZ; and Pioneertown, CA for a final show on November 15. Tickets for the tour dates and festival appearances are all on sale now.

Formed in 2008 by lead singer and songwriter Kristin Welchez (stage name Dee Dee Penny), Dum Dum Girls got their name from The VaselinesDum Dum, as well as “Dum Dum Boys”, the song by Iggy Pop. The band, currently comprised of has released three studio albums (2010’s I Will Be, 2011’s Only in Dreams, and 2014’s Too True), four EPs (2008’s Dum Dum Girls, 2009’s Dum Dum Girls, 2011’s He Gets Me High, and 2012’s End of Daze), and ten singles.
