Latin crooner Enrique Iglesias has an announcement: he’s about to set out on a tour. Iglesias made his statement at the Billboard Latin Music Conference this week, and the crowd was excited, to say the least. What’s even more exciting is that he’s touring with Mr. 305 himself, Pitbull, and Columbian singer J Balvin. No concrete dates or times have been announced as of yet, but you can expect one heck of a dancing, singing show from Iglesias and company.
Iglesias, son of legendary crooner Julio Iglesias, got his start in the Latin American and Hispanic markets, becoming one of the best-selling Spanish-language artists of the 1990s. He crossed over into the English-speaking market with songs like “Bailamos,” “Hero,” and “Escape” in the early 2000s after signing an unprecedented, sports player-esque $48 million dollar, multi-album deal with Universal Music Latino and Interscope. Since the beginning of his career, he’s sold over 100 million albums worldwide. Iglesias also boasts five Billboard Hot 100 top five singles (with two No. 1s) and 13 No. 1 songs on the Billboard Dance charts (that’s more than any other male artist, like, ever). Check below for tour date information as soon as it becomes available.
