Bust out your planners and clear a spot for Friday, May 16: Lily Allen will be in NYC filming a concert for an episode of Live from the Artists Den! In true Artists Den fashion, the location is top-secret, but we do know that doors are at 7pm and music is at 8pm. And we also know that the only way for you to get a ticket is by entering the lottery over at Artistsden.com/lilyallen… like, right now.

Love her or hate her, there’s no debating that Lily Allen is one of the spunkiest and most unique voices in pop music today. After a brief hiatus, the 29-year-old singer/songwriter slowly returned to the musical spotlight in 2012, announcing to Q Magazine that she was in the studio, “throwing sh*t at the wall and seeing if anything sticks.”

Not one to shy away from controversy, she later revealed that her new album would be titled Sheezus, a tongue-in-cheek response to Kanye’s Yeezus. Released in the U.S. on May 5, for the most part the album has been critically praised, receiving 4 out of 5 stars from The Independent. The album’s latest single, and title track, is out now.

For folks living under a rock, Live from the Artists Den is a three-time Emmy-nominated television series that features popular musicians performing in unique settings throughout the country. After seven seasons, the show has quite an impressive roster: Adele, Ringo Starr, The National, Elvis Costello, Vampire Weekend–you get the idea (and you can find a complete list here).
