Hawthorne Heights Announce 10th Anniversary World Tour
Hawthorne Heights Tour
It’s been ten years since many of our favorite indie-rock and pop-punk albums have been released, so it’s no wonder that a majority of bands are planning anniversary tours. Next up on the docket? Hawthorne Heights. To commemorate the ten years since the release of their The Silence in Black and White, the band will hit the road for an extensive world tour during which the full album will be played at every show. It kicks off April 8 in Dublin at Fibber Magees, and continues through Aberdeen, UK; Manchester, UK; Cologne, DE; Berlin, DE; and many more. Don’t live on the Continent? Not to worry—Hawthorne Heights has yet to reveal their North America and Asia dates, so there are many more opportunities on the way. Tickets for already-announced dates are on sale now.
Formed in 2001 in Dayton, OH, Hawthorne Heights was originally called A Day in the Life, after The Beatles’ song of the same name. Their debut 2004 release, The Silence in Black and White, was certified gold and spawned hit singles such as “Niki FM,” and “Ohio is for Lovers.” Their second album, If Only You Were Lonely, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart and No. 3 on the Top 200 chart.
