High Sierra Festival 2013

One of the nation’s longest running music festivals, California’s High Sierra Festival is, once again, back for its 22nd event. This year, the festival boasts a lineup that includes several popular alt/jam-band acts, including Thievery Corporation, Primus and The Greyboy Allstars. The Independence Day festivities are set to kick off the night of the July 4th holiday, and last through July 7.

Located a trim 80 miles northwest of the City of Sin’s sibling, otherwise known as Reno, NV, High Sierra has been known to sponsor festivals outside of the Sunshine State, in Nevada as well as Georgia, Massachusetts, and Missouri. Unfortunately for Southern/Eastern fans, there’s been no further word on any such events this year, but the original High Sierra festival does have its 2013 lineup all locked and ready to perform (and who’d turn up their noses at a music-fest road trip?). We’ve got the full list of the festival’s featured artists below, as well as last year’s slate of headliners, a recap video of past performances to get you pumped, and, finally (/most importantly), a host of High Sierra discount ticket links!
