Back in 2012, R&B singer Tom Krell (stage name: How to Dress Well), said he’s “influenced equally by Mariah Carey and Lubomyr Melnyk,” and has also been compared to the likes of Shai and TLC. After a particularly rough and dark time in his life, How to Dress Well’s debut album Love Remains was released to critical acclaim. His second album Total Loss was met with similar success in 2012. It stands to reason that his forthcoming album What Is This Heart? is set to release on June 24. His recently announced summer and fall tour will be in support of this third album and will span both Europe and the US.

European fans across Europe can catch How to Dress Well all June long. He’ll be playing in London on June 13 at the ICA, Brussels on June 14, and Amsterdam on June 17, among others. He’ll start his stateside trek in August with a show in San Diego on August 21, before making stops along the West Coast and Canada. East Coast fans, be sure to check out his shows in Boston on September 16 at Brighton Music Hall, in New York City at Irving Plaza, and on September 19 in Philadelphia at District N9NE.
