Kid Rock will be kicking off the Born Free Tour by throwing himself a huge birthday bash at Ford Field on January 15th to celebrate his 40th birthday with some 60,000 hometown fans.  The Born Free tour features 27 dates at cities across the country.  Tickets go on sale this weekend for all of the shows except Kid Rock’s 40th Birthday Party which went on sale last week and quickly sold out.

Kid Rock has also been generating a little buzz with his MTV Born Free documentary which has been getting great reviews from fans.
