Kiwi (that’s from New Zealand, folks) chanteuse Kimbra has just announced plans for a North American tour, set to take place this fall. She’ll perform 12 concerts in three weeks, and all in support of her upcoming sophomore effort, The Golden Echo, set to hit shelves on August 19. Her tour will kick off on October 20 at The Independent in San Francisco, CA. Next, Kimbra will head to Los Angeles, CA; Santa Ana, CA; Las Vegas, NV (for the Life is Beautiful Festival); Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; Chicago, IL; New York, NY (at Bowery Ballroom); Philadelphia, PA; and Washington, DC. The tour culminates in a show at Brighton Music Hall in Allston, MA on November 9. Support for the tour comes in the way of Empress Of on select dates. Tickets for the sale go on sale July 25.

Kimbra burst onto the United States scene with her 2012 duet with Gotye, “Somebody That I Used to Know”—the tune netted the pair two Grammy Awards in 2013: one for Record of the Year and one for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Kimbra released her debut album, Vows, in 2011, spawning the singles “Good Intent” and “Warrior”, a collaboration with Foster the People’s Mark Foster.
