Kip Moore has been on the road for years now (he’s on the Country Megaticket already this summer), but he’s finally being rewarded for all that hard work with his very own headlining tour. He’s going “Up in Smoke” with CMT for the, what else, CMT on Tour 2014: Up in Smoke Tour. This country jamboree will kick off on September 25 in New York, NY at the Best Buy Theater, playing the Palace Theatre in Albany, NY on September 26. Following New York, Moore will play Cedar Rapids, IA; Minneapolis, MN; Chattanooga, TN; Tulsa, OK; Orlando, FL; Athens, GA, Sayreville, NJ; and Boston, MA, to name a few, all through the end of November. Joining Moore on his CMT trek? Pals Charlie Worsham and Sam Hunt. For ticketing information and on-sale dates, visit Moore’s website.

Fun fact: before Moore got his country music start on MCA Nashville, he spent four years managing an Abercrombie & Fitch in Nashville proper. His first single, “Mary Was The Marrying Kind,” wasn’t the hit he had hoped for, but his second single, “Something’ ‘Bout A Truck,” struck country music gold. It went to No. 1 on the Billboard country charts, with “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl” not far behind.
