UPDATE

The interest for Kraftwerk’s 2013 residency at the Tate Modern was so great this past week, that the demand crashed the website for the museum, resulting in numerous fans venting their frustration and dismay at their inability to score tickets. Tickets are apparently still available and the museum recently released a statement to the following:

“Many people had a difficult time trying to buy tickets for Kraftwerk yesterday, and we apologise unreservedly for that. We had anticipated a significant volume of interest but our website was overwhelmed by the phenomenal number of people attempting to access it simultaneously. This meant the majority of tickets had to be sold over the phone and we apologise for the long wait and frustration this has caused. We believed that our system could cope with the volume so did not appoint a third party ticketing site.”

If you missed out on a chance to score tickets, we have links right here at SeatGeek to the best deals across the secondary market for all Kraftwerk tickets.

PREVIOUS NEWS

Kraftwerk are repeating something that garnered a great deal of buzz earlier in 2012. The influential electronic music pioneers performed at the Museum of Modern Art in April as part of the exhibit “Kraftwerk – Retrospective 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8″ where they performed all eight of their studio albums in their entirety on eight separate nights. The plan this time is to perform the same sequence of albums over the same time frame at the Tate Modern in London in February.
