La Roux, the British pop star best known for her Grammy-winning self-titled debut album, has announced a North American leg of her upcoming world tour. The tour is in support of her second record, Trouble in Paradise. Her second rise on the sythpop charts is currently being led by singles off the new album including “Tropical Chancer” and “Let Me Down Gently.”
The 11 North American tour dates are sandwiched between two sets of European concerts, spanning the last two weeks of September and the first few days of October. She’ll begin with three tour dates in the Pacific Northwest (9/18-22) and then two California concerts in Oakland (Fox Theatre, 9/22) and Los Angeles (Henry Fonda Theatre, 9/23). The tour will then turn east with shows in Salt Lake City, Boulder, and Minneapolis. La Roux will conclude her cross-country travels with stops in Chicago (Concord Music Hall, 10/1), Detroit and, of course, New York (Terminal 5, 10/3-4).
