Are you ready, Young Money? The second most-powerful couple in hip-hop (behind Bey and Jay, obviously) are hitting the road—Drake and Lil’ Wayne are going on tour together! They’ve just announced plans for a 31-date tour dubbed, appropriately, the “Drake Vs. Lil’ Wayne Tour”. It kicks off on August 8 at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Center, NY, and then continues through Tinley Park, IL; Saratoga Springs, NY; Cincinnati, OH; Forest Hills, NY; Camden, NJ; Holmdel, NJ; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; Los Angeles, CA; Dallas, TX; Auburn, WA; and Phoenix, AZ; the tour finishes off on September 27 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, TX. The two recently collaborated on Lil’ Wayne’s latest single, “Believe Me” (see the video below), so we can’t wait to see what they’ll come up with on tour. Ticketing information is available on each artist’s respective website.

Lil’ Wayne got his start in 1991 by joining Cash Money Records at the ripe old age of 9. After forming Hot Boys, he went solo and hit it big, with his 1999 debut solo album, The Block Is Hot, being certified platinum by the RIAA. Aubrey “Drake” Graham started his career as a child actor on the series Degrassi: The Next Generation. His first album, 2010’s Thank Me Later, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and generated big singles like “Over” and “Find Your Love”.
