Hailing from the Queensbridge section of my home borough, Nas put himself on the map back in 1991 when he was featured on Main Source’s track “Live at the Barbeque,” stealing the limelight and establishing himself as an up-and-coming force in the rap game. His debut album Illmatic is considered to be one of the greatest albums in the history of hip hop. Over the course of his career, he has released 13 albums and has been nominated for 13 Grammy awards, four coming this year.

With plans already to perform at the huge Governor’s Ball festival in New York City this year, Nas revealed plans to take his show across the ocean to Europe this Spring with a 13-date European tour.
