Jam rock pioneers O.A.R. seem like they’re always on tour, don’t they? Well, not much is changing this fall, as the group has announced plans for a fall tour around the East Coast of United States in support of their latest album, The Rockville LP. They’ll start things off on November 6 at Track 29 in Chattanooga, TN before continuing onto Athens, GA; Nashville, TN; Ft. Myers, FL; St. Augustine, FL; Boca Raton, FL; Bethlehem, PA; Syracuse, NY; Atlantic City, NJ; Portland, ME; and, finally, New York, NY, for shows at the Hammerstein Ballroom on November 28 and 29. Ticketing dates have not yet been announced, so keep it here or check O.A.R.’s website for further details.

O.A.R. began playing their brand of American rock and roll in 1996, but didn’t really hit giant commercial success until the releases of Stories Of A Stranger in 2005 and All Sides in 2008, when smash hits like “Shattered” dominated the charts. Since then, the band has sold over 1.2 million albums and sold out Madison Square Garden. Not bad for a bunch of hometown pals. Besides their music, the band is known for their philanthropy; they’ve raised money for their alma mater, The Ohio State University, U.S. army veterans, and more.
