Progressive metal instrumentalists band Scale the Summit have announced 2012 tour dates in support of their latest album, The Collective; they will be supported by Trioscapes. This particular tour in support of their third album marks the first time most fans will see the band without original bassist Jordan Eberhardt, who no longer wished to travel as much and left just before the summer “Adventure Metal Across America” tour.

The ten dates of this shorter tour will all be east of the Mississippi River, with a couple in Canada. The band gained a number of fans during tours when it supported the likes of Dream Theater, Bigelf and Zappa Plays Zappa. These final 2012 Scale the Summit tour dates will give prog-rock fans another chance to see these eight-year veterans before they return to the studio.
