Stone Temple Pilots Tour

Are you ready to rock? Well, we sure hope so, because we’ve got a tour to really knock your rocking socks off. Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean Deleo announced plans for an upcoming tour with new singer Chester Bennington (yep, that Chester, the former lead singer of rock/rap group Linkin Park) who replaced old STP singer Scott Weiland this year. The tour kicks off on September 4 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with dates in Huntington, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Tempe, Arizona; Atlantic City, New Jersey; and more! General admission tickets will go on sale Friday, July 19 on the band’s website.

So what else did Deleo say? Oh, just that Stone Temple Pilots are currently working on their seventh studio album with Bennington at the vocal helm. (Hard to believe they’ve only had seven albums, huh?) Stone Temple Pilot‘s former singer, Scott Weiland, was pretty much canned by the band earlier this year after a massive falling out. Lawsuits are pending on both sides, so we’ll see who comes out on top.
