Disco Biscuits are already set to appear at this summer’s Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport, CT, on August 2, but they’ve just released a pair of multi-night runs in the weeks leading up to the show. To kick things off, Disco Biscuits will play their first shows at New York City’s Irving Plaza in over a decade on June 12, 13, and 14. Two weeks later, the band will journey south to Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club for shows on July 31 and August 1 before making their way back north to Connecticut. Are these shows far from your hometown? No worries—the jamtronica pioneers have given word that additional summer shows are in the works. A presale for newly announced dates is on now via the band’s website.

Founded in Philadelphia, PA, Disco Biscuits are made up of Allen Aucoin on drums, Marc Brownstein on bass, Jon Gutwillig on guitar, and Aron Magner on keyboards and synthesizers. Described as “trance fusion,” the band incorporates elements from genres like electronica and rock to form their own unique sound. In 1999, the band created Camp Bisco, an electronic and jam-band music festival. This festival still continues, with past acts including Skrillex, Big Gigantic, and Bassnectar.
