UPDATE: New York City Benefit Concert

The Who have added a special night as the last stop on their American tour, set to kick off tomorrow night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. Scheduled to take place February 28 in New York City at the more intimate Theater at Madison Square Garden, the concert will be a benefit to support Teen Cancer America and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

The show will be a bit different than the rest of the shows on the tour as the band will perform a greatest hits show in lieu of the Quadrophenia rock opera they are reviving for their tour in the U.S. and the United Kingdom later on in the year.

Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday, February 2. For the best deals on all tickets to The Who, keep it locked right here at SeatGeek.

The Who Quadrophenia Tour

The Who are continuing their tour of bringing Quadrophenia to the masses with a new string of tour dates in the United Kingdom this coming June and July after they wrap up a string of more North American tour dates in January and February.

According to Pollstar, “For this tour, the band is eschewing the narration employed for previous presentations of Quadrophenia, choosing instead to go with images denoting particular plot points in the story.”

The band will take the 1973 rock opera in its 40th anniversary to cities throughout their home nation – cities like London, Glasgow, Manchester, and Birmingham – as well as Dublin, Belfast, Paris, and Amsterdam. In total, they will play 12 shows, with the first set to take place on June 8 in Dublin at The O2 Dublin. The last show on the current itinerary as it stands is July 5 in Amsterdam at the Ziggo Dome.

Tickets for the European shows are set to go on sale February 1 and the best deals on all The Who tickets can be found right here at SeatGeek.
