Thom Yorke Tour

Radiohead frontman and one of the most influential musicians of our time, Thom Yorke, has announced select tour dates slated for the upcoming weeks. He will head out with buddy Nigel Godrich for some good ol’ fashioned DJing fun overseas. According to a Tweet by Yorke, “Me & Nigel out & about with two turntables & a microphone…” Hm, sounds like a Beck song that I know. So far the duo has only announced three dates, with the promise of special guests and venues to follow. The first stop will take place on February 22 in London, followed by a gig in Berlin, DE, on March 8. And finally, they make their way to New York City on March 14.

Besides his extra work as a DJ, Thom Yorke is also keeping busy with his other side project, Atoms for Peace. He’s joined by Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea and Mauro Refosco, and folks can expect to hear new music from them on February 26 when they release their debut album, Amok. For now, check out the video for the classic Radiohead song, “Fake Plastic Trees,” below.
