Garth Brooks is staging a comeback, and he’s bringing his ladylove, Trisha Yearwood, along for the ride. Yearwood may be the cooking queen on the Food Network now (the new Paula Deen, methinks), but let’s not forget that she boasts a sizable pair of pipes. To keep up with Brooks, Yearwood has just announced that she’s releasing PrizeFighter, her twelfth studio album and her first since 2007’s Heaven, Heartache, and the Power of Love. So far, Yearwood is scheduled to appear with Brooks on all of his comeback dates, kicking off September 4 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago for a series of shows and then moving onto Atlanta’s Philips Arena September 19 for more dates. Trisha Yearwood rose to fame in the early 1990s with her debut single “She’s in Love with the Boy”, which gained her instant acclaim and her first No. 1. Since then, Yearwood has released eight more No. 1 singles and 20 Top Ten hits. She is a member of the Grand Ole Opry and a Grammy winner, winning for a duet, “In Another’s Eyes”, that she sang with her husband. Yearwood has sold more than 12.5 million albums worldwide.
