Alt-rockers Unwritten Law will team up with punk rockers Suicidal Tendencies for a tour of Australia, slated for the coming winter. The six-date stint begins on December 12, with a show at Coolangatta Hotel on the Gold Coast. After that it’s off to Brisbane, then Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. The tour wraps up on December 19 at Metropolis in Fremantle. All of the shows are 18 years and older, save for the December 16 Adelaide performance. Also joining Unwritten Law and Suicidal Tendencies on tour will be The Dudesons. All three acts will take the stage for SRH Fest, as part of the Melbourne gig, which will also feature local Aussie musicians who are yet to be announced.

Unwritten Law got their start back 1990 during the So-Cal punk era. While they’ve built a massive underground following through several performances on the Warped Tour and extensive touring, they didn’t have a major hit until track “Seein’ Red,” off of their 2001 album Elva. Suicidal Tendencies still remain relatively unknown to mainstream-music audiences, although the four-piece hardcore band has been playing together since 1981. Also a part of the So-Cal scene, they have eight studio albums and have been included on countless punk rock compilations. They saw a bit of commercial success with their song ‘”Institutionalized,” which was featured on Guitar Hero II.

Check out these punk rock staples when they tour Aussie – and the US! – this year.
