Thanksgiving football is a pastime in Detroit. Every year, the Lions have a home game on Thanksgiving Thursday and this year they take on one of the best teams in the NFL – the Houston Texans. With an offense led by Arian Foster at running back, Andre Johnson at wide receiver and Matt Schaub at the QB helm, the Texans have racked up a 9-1 record for the top spot in the AFC. The Lions on the other hand have been performing below expectations with a 4-6 record. Matthew Stafford has had an up and down year and Calvin Johnson has not been able to put up the monster stats that we all expect from him as well.

The Thanksgiving game kicks off at 12:30 ET at Ford Field in Detroit and will be nationally televised on CBS. As for the tickets, you can find the best deals for the game right here at SeatGeek.
